Yesterday in many parts of southern California the mercury rose to triple digits. I’m no fan of extreme heat, so I wasn’t pleased about it, but June has arrived! With its balmy arrival also comes our celebration of Men’s Health Month. That’s right, fellas this month we’re thinking of you even more! Men’s Health Month was established in 1994 to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys. Each year thousands of men are diagnosed with illnesses that are mostly, preventable. With that in mind, I want to share few resources with you or the men in your life.

Now I don’t know if this is true, but I’ve heard that men don’t usually take a lot of time to focus on their own health and wellness. Maybe this doesn’t apply to all men and I certainly hope it doesn’t. Since there’s a whole month dedicated to this topic, it’s a perfect time to check out some of the following resources:

Guys, we’re celebrating Men’s Health Month right now. Which means we’re celebrating you. We want you to be well in body, mind, and spirit. Take a little extra time to focus on yourselves this month. After all, your health is your real wealth!
